DJ LX is not your any ordinary DJ. Unlike many upcoming DJs now stepping into the Hawaii club scenes, LX has always had the love and passion for music. For him everything he does is truly from the heart. As he states, I hope when people see me they see a DJ who DJs for the love of the music and the people, not for the rock star status." In all honestly, he really loves what he does. If he won the lottery tomorrow, the only thing that would change is he would be deejaying at every night club for free. Originally from the small island of Moloka'i, this Certified Party Rocker began his career in late 2000 which has led him to where he is today. What makes him so consistent is that LX always plays for the crowd! "Yes as a DJ, sometimes we want to hear the songs we want to hear, hate playing the same songs night after night, but its the dance floor and people having fun is what matters."

Another aspect of his prominence is that the music creativity he generates on the fly is inspired purely by the crowds energy; but keeping the integrity of the music knowing when to scratch, when not to scratch knowing how to go from Hip-Hop to Rock, to Old School to House/Dance, to Electro to Reggae ect...

In 2003, DJ LX debut on-air for (KPHW, Honolulu Hawaii) 104.3 XME now Power 104.3. He takes pride and pleasure in mixing on air every Friday night, working along side his inspirations, DJ Krazy K, James Coles, Mr. Good Vybe, DJ Elite, Technique and DJ Big John. You can also catch LX on the airwaves on Da Jam 98.3 on the Power Mix @ 6 every Monday & Tuesday afternoon. LX is also a member of some of the most highly known affiliations which includes Power 104.3 FM, Da Jam 98.3, Next Level Entertainment, Mix Doctors Productions, 808 Certified Party Rockers, Future Star DJs, Mix Matters, Mix Bosses, Serato Pimps and Vinyl Breakerz.

With his wide assortment taste of music, DJ LX mixes everything from Hip-Hop, R&B, Dance/House, Electro, Rock, Funk, Old school, 80s, Reggae/Island, Latin/Reggaeton and Dance-Hall. The combination of his versatile style and unique skills makes him not only a vastly recognized name but also a sought-after name in the business. His expertise has already enabled him to perform all over the Hawaiian Islands in various bars/nightclubs. Its now 2010 and people are starting to take notice of this DJ who rocks the crowds ubiquitously. Besides the night club and radio scene LX has DJd private parties in Maui-Hawaii for some of the biggest celebrities like Hayden Panettiere, Antonio Pierce, Paris Hilton, Kirsten Dunst, Eddie Murphy and Jesse Bradford. LX has also opened up shows/concerts for national recording artists Bone Thugs, Baby Bash, Lunch, Diamonique, Sean Kingston, Collie Buddz, Savage and most recently Fatman Scoop.

DJ LX humbly believes that his talent is a blessing from God which led him to his current livelihood and acclaim. While he continues to grow and get better at what he does, he plans to further his career by continuing to be on the top of his game and challenging himself. According to DJ LX, I dont care about being better or trying to defy other DJs. Id rather have fun and challenge myself and always try to outshine my last performance. I'm a perfectionist and I will never stop challenging myself; the day I stop is the day I'll become a failure, which will never happen. I will always strive for the next level of greatness.

In the future, he is driven to pursue his career in becoming a producer/remixer. With great determination and his strong work ethics, he aims to make his mark in the music industry and express his love of music to the rest of the world.
